How we handle your information.

Who we are

Enviro-Smart Inc. operates this website at envirosmartinc.com. We’re based at 1110 Great Lakes Road S, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1K 3N6. You can reach us at [email protected] or (587) 747-3753.

What we collect

From the contact form: Your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the topic you selected, and your message. We use this only to reply to you — nothing else.

From every visit: Standard web server logs — your IP address, the page you visited, the time, your browser type. This is the bare minimum every web server records, and we use it only for diagnosing problems and stopping abuse.

From customer accounts (if you have one): If we’ve given you an account to upload photos or videos to your installation page, we store your username, the email you signed up with, and an encrypted password. Anything you upload is attached to your installation profile.

Anonymous usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity): We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors actually use the site — which sections get scrolled, which links get clicked, where people get stuck. Clarity records anonymous session replays (no names, no email addresses, no form input is captured by default) and aggregates the data into heatmaps for us. It helps us improve confusing pages. See the “Microsoft Clarity” entry below for opt-out instructions.

What we don’t collect: We don’t run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or advertising trackers. We don’t profile visitors across the web. We don’t send your information to advertising networks. We don’t use cookies to follow you from site to site.

Who we share information with

We share the bare minimum needed to run the website. Specifically:

• Cloudflare — we use Cloudflare for site delivery, security (Turnstile bot protection on the contact form), and for hosting videos (Cloudflare Stream) and photos (Cloudflare R2). Their privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Google — we embed Google Maps on the Contact page and load Google Fonts for typography. policies.google.com/privacy
• YouTube — some installation pages embed YouTube videos. YouTube may set cookies if you interact with the embedded player. policies.google.com/privacy
• Namecheap — our web hosting provider. They handle server-level logs and email delivery. namecheap.com/legal/general/privacy-policy
• Microsoft Clarity — we use Clarity to record anonymous session replays and generate heatmaps showing how visitors interact with the site. Clarity does not capture personal data by default (no names, no email addresses, no password fields, no form inputs). Microsoft is the data processor. Their privacy statement: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement. To opt out of Clarity (and most other web analytics) across the web, enable your browser’s Do Not Track setting or install a privacy extension like Privacy Badger or uBlock Origin.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We’ve never run a marketing email list and have no plans to start one without asking you first.

Cookies

We don’t use tracking cookies. The site sets a small number of functional cookies only when needed:

• WordPress session cookies — only if you have a customer account and sign in. These keep you logged in.
• Cloudflare cookies — Cloudflare may set short-lived cookies to detect bots and route your request to the nearest server.
• Microsoft Clarity cookies — Clarity sets a few cookies (MUID, _clck, _clsk) to recognize that successive page views are the same anonymous session, so the heatmaps and replays don’t fragment. No personal information is tied to these.

Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block these in your browser settings without breaking the rest of the site.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions arrive as email and live in our inbox until we delete them (typically once the conversation is resolved). Server logs rotate monthly. Customer account data lives until you ask us to delete it or until the account is no longer in use.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and similar laws elsewhere, you have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
• Withdraw consent for us to keep it

Children

Our website is for industrial heating and flooring customers — adult business decision-makers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we’ve collected information from a minor, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be announced via a notice on the site or by email if you have an account.
